I ordered Starfish Sushi online for pickup and it was ready so fast and the food was really yummy. The staff was friendly and helpful when I came in to pay and pickup my order, the restaurant was not too big, but it was decently sized, had tables and bar seating, and it was very clean. There is street parking and I believe a valet lot as well. I ordered the three item bento box and chose Teriyaki Salmon, Vegetable Tempura, and California Roll. It comes with rice, miso soup, and salad too! They have a large menu with lots of options and I think it would be a good place to to go to dinner with family or friends, next time I think I'll try going in person to dine in.

Love this place and the staff are amazing! Great portion sizes on the sushi rolls and especially love the eel nigiri.

Love this little hole in the wall Japanese restaurant. Everything is so fresh, and the quality is really good!! Have been there twice in the last few weeks, and will be going back soon!! Highly recommend!!

The Baked Black Cod was probably one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. It was tender and smooth. The stir-fried vegetables that accompanied it were perfect for the dish. Absolutely loved this one, and will get it again in a heartbeat. The sushi rolls we got had chili oil on it and it was really good. I actually wished it has more of that chili oil taste, and even better if it were a numbing sichuan style oil. Other than that, it was still very good. Love the sort-of secret parking in the back. Very convenient. Staff were very nice. Highly recommend this spot based on the Black Cod dish alone.

Love this hole in the wall sushi spot!! All of the nigiri we had tasted super fresh and delicate. I loved the pickled veggies it came with too. I got the B.S.C.R roll which was a baked scallop roll and the sauce was so flavorful and delicious. The edamame was really nicely seasoned and the tempura green tea ice cream was a yummy, unique way to end the meal. Service was friendly and quick! I felt very well taken care of here by all of the servers and sushi chefs. I had found street parking which can be busy in this neighborhood but there is also parking in the rear.

I came by Starfish while exploring the neighborhood and craving some sushi. They had a happy hour deal going on and I decided to order a couple rolls and garlic edemame. The California roll was delicious, tasted as expected! Salmon lacked quality but I ate it all so do what'cha will with that (I say shoot your shot). Servers were sweet and chef checked in a couple times, which was quite nice. Thank you for hosting me during a long day!

visited for date night and loved this little spot. hole in the wall sushi bar vibes with small outdoor and indoor seating. i was really craving a chirashi bowl and ngl i balked a lil bit at the price but it's what i was craving so i went for it anyway. i was actually blown away by my dish. it came with fat slices of each fish and topping. they were so fresh and delicious. the portion was large (worth the money imo) and the plating itself when it arrived was a feast for the eyes. it also came with a yummy little bowl of miso as an appetizer. my girl ordered the BSCR roll which was also good but she thought the scallop topping was a bit too much. i got a glass of plum wine (yummy!) and she got a large bottle of hot sake for us to share. our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomachs for the drinks. between the two of us we did finish the sake but it was an endeavor and we left tipsy as hell. service was timely. this is right on vermont so i don't believe it has anything other than street parking.

Food was great and fresh. Service was great and quick serving. Ambiance was great quiet.
